Unreinforced Silicone Tube
Peroxide cured silicone is the most common form of silicone and is suitable for most applications. It has FDA approval and is commonly used in the food and beverage industry.
Platinum cured silicone was historically developed for the medical industry due to its ‘pure’ properties & its high level of clarity. Over time, these properties have become appealing to other industries too & platinum cured silicone is no longer used as just a medical grade tubing. It also has USP class VI, FDA & WRAS approvals.

Silicone Milking tube
We can also offer peroxide cured silicone milking tube which is manufactured to withstand the daily rigours of the milking parlour.
It is very flexible, easy to install, long-lasting and due to the reduced weight compared to standard rubber tubing, reduces the pull on the cluster.
The tube is translucent and its clarity allows easy monitoring of the tube contents. It is very hygienic, does not support the growth of bacteria with age and will not crack or perish.
Antimicrobial Silicone
Antimicrobial Silicone offers all of the benefits of standard silicone, with added antimicrobial protection.
Specifically engineered for applications where bacteria control is required, antimicrobial silicone provides prolonged and effective protection against bacteria such as MRSA and E.coli.

Due to the unique formula of our antimicrobial silicone, you can be assured of long term protection against bacteria in any application.
Independently tested in accordance with the JIS Z 2801:2000 method, antimicrobial silicone shows a 99.995% reduction in MRSA bacterial population & a 99.999% reduction in E.coli bacterial population, after the 24 hour incubation period at 35 ºC, compared to the control sample.
