  • Extraflexible Nylon tubing is extremely lightweight - approximately 10% more so than Polyurethane tubing.
  • The tube is more flexible than standard Nylon tubing, even at low temperatures.
  • Extraflexible Nylon tubing is easy to work with as it can be preformed and cut to size, to suit the requirements of the application.
  • Colex Nylon tubing is manufactured from heat and light stabilised materials ensuring its suitability for outdoor applications.
  • The smooth bore of the tube ensures the consistent flow of the contents.
  • Colex Nylon tube is manufactured to tight engineering tolerances.
  • Extraflexible Nylon tube has an excellent resistance to impacts.
  • Colex Extraflexible Nylon is silicone free.

• Extraflexible Nylon is manufactured from Nylon (PA) 11 or 12

Temperatures**
-35C to +70C
Occasional use: up to 120C
Brittle Temperature: -70C

Pressures**
Values given are based on the short term burst pressure of nylon at 20C using a safety factor 4:1.
Note: Any increase in temperature above 20C will result in a decline in working pressure values.

Nylon is resistant to most solvents, alkalis, oils, greases, petroleum products, fungi, moulds, and dilute acids (mineral and organic). For more detailed information please contact the Colex Sales Office.
