Weld Spatter Tube
Colex International Weld Spatter Tube is constructed from our pneumatic polyurethane tubing covered in 1mm of seamless flame retardant TPE making it resistant to short term exposure to welding sparks.
The applications of standard PPU apply to Weld Spatter Tube, including, Industrial robotics, Pneumatic valves, Fuel and Lubrication lines, Control instrumentation, Pneumatic lines, Chemical transfer tubing, Metering pumps, and conveyance of gases, some liquids, dry powders and granules.
However, Weld Spatter tube is primarily designed for use in applications where the inner needs to be protected from welding or grinding sparks as the TPE cover will shield the PPU from damage.

Size: 4mm ID to 12mm ID
Colours: White, Yellow, Green, Red, Blue or Black.
Cover: Flame retardant TPE
Size: Covered to 1mm
Colours: Red, Green Yellow, Blue or Black.

Technical Information
- Colex Weld Spatter Tube is the ideal solution when tubing may be exposed to welding spatter and sparks.
- The tube cover is flame retardant and self-extinguishing avoiding the need for expensive metallic braided pipes or ferrous /non-ferrous rigid metallic tubing.
- Weld Spatter Tube has good resistance to hot fluids, oils and solvents.
- The tube is extremely durable since it has excellent resistance to abrasions and impacts.
- The outer cover meets cable spec BS7655 TYPE TM2, TM5&6, & TI2 and is BS Softness 60.
- The inner tube is manufactured from 100% ester based polyurethane, with no plasticiser involved in its manufacture.
Chemical Resistance
Weld Spatter Tube is resistant to most solvents, alkalis, oils, greases, petroleum products, fungi, moulds and dilute acids (mineral and organic).
